There may be several reasons why your customers are having trouble —or simply can't— enroll with Resolve. Maybe they're restricted by their internal policies, or are struggling with change management—either way, we've made it possible for you to start sending advanced invoices to these customers without the need for any action on their part.
With Enrollment Bypass, you can start unlocking advances on your net terms invoices after a simple, additional approval process.
How do I turn on Enrollment Bypass?
First, reach out to your customer success representative about turning on the feature. They will assist you with turning it on yourself through the Settings page in your dashboard. Once you turn on the Enrollment Bypass feature, it cannot be turned off; this is important to note because when a customer is approved for Enrollment Bypass, that customer will behave differently than a customer that is Enrolled.
What are the differences between an Enrollment Bypass customer vs. an Enrolled customer?
When your customer is approved for Enrollment Bypass:
- They don’t need to Enroll— you can immediately start sending Advance Pay invoices
- You’re responsible if your customer doesn’t pay. Any late or missing payments will be debited from your account.
- You must verify shipping on their invoices and forward any buyer payments
When you turn on the Enrollment Bypass feature, you will be asked to sign a document that states you agree to these new terms. A copy of this agreement will be sent to the email address you submit with the form.
How do I request Enrollment Bypass for a customer?
There are two points in which you can request Enrollment Bypass for a customer: At the time of, or after, your customer credit check.
At the time of credit check:
Start by credit checking your customer as you normally would.
In the credit check modal, there will be a new additional question asking you if you would like to submit this customer for Enrollment Bypass. Click 'Yes' on this field. Clicking 'Save & next' will submit your customer for a standard credit limit assessment and subsequently take you to the Enrollment Bypass Request modal.
After credit check
If your customer is already approved for a credit line, click the kebab menu of the customer you want to bypass enrollment for and click "Bypass Enrollment"
Once you have done either of these steps, you will asked to fill out the following form in order to request Enrollment Bypass for your customer. We recommend uploading as much documentation as possible that proves this customer needs Enrollment Bypass to increase your chances of approval. Additionally, if you already know that your customer will NOT want any email correspondences from Resolve, you have the option here to disable all Resolve email notifications.
After clicking 'Submit', you'll be able to see from the dashboard that this customer was already requested for Enrollment Bypass. A badge will appear next to their business name, and the 'Bypass enrollment' option will be disabled from the kebab menu.
You will receive notice of whether or not your customer was approved for Enrollment Bypass via email. If your customer is approved, you'll be able to see that their Credit Line Status was updated to 'Enrolled — Bypass'. You can also filter your customers by their 'Enrollment Bypass' status.
That's it! Once your customer has been approved for Enrollment Bypass, just start sending net terms invoices— you'll receive your advance payout just as you would with an Enrolled customer. Advanced invoices that were sent to Enrollment Bypass customers will be distinguished in the Invoices table and details page with a 'Bypass' badge. You can also filter for these invoices as well.
