For pre-approval credit submissions, once a credit decision is made and a customer is approved for "Advance Pay", they will stay in the "Pending enrollment" section until they agree to The Net Terms Agreement and update their payment remittance information. Your customers complete those steps by walking through a simple online form, which gets sent to them by you via 2 methods detailed below.
In the "Pending Enrollment" section, you will be able to see how many days you have to enroll a customer (i.e., get the customer to complete the online enrollment form). Once you initiate enrollment and the customer completes this step (takes ~2 minutes to complete), their account becomes active and moves to the "Enrolled" section. This enables you to receive advances on their invoices.
You can choose one of the below two methods to "Enroll" a customer:
-
Send an enrollment invoice:
"Send enrollment invoice" button: Send them their first invoice. You must select “Receive an advance on this invoice.” This will trigger an email notification sent to your customer, prompting them to accept The Net Terms Agreement and update their payment remittance information, which once completed, changes their status to "Enrolled," and sends you the advanced amount of their first invoice.
To send an enrollment invoice:
Navigate to your "Customers" page in your Resolve dashboard
Click on the "Pending enrollment" section in the customers table.
Click on the "Send enrollment invoice" button. This will open the "Add invoice" page where you can fill out the invoice details, review, and send it.
If you have sent your customer the enrollment invoice, their status will change to "Pending customer action". To encourage your customer to complete the enrollment process, you can either copy and send the enrollment link or click the "Resend invoice" button and send a reminder at any time. Please note that this will not change or impact the automatic reminder emails. -
Send an enrollment link:
To find a customer's Enrollment Link:
Navigate to your "Customers" page in your Resolve dashboard and click on the "Pending enrollment" section in the customers table.
Now click the ••• to the right of the "Send enrollment invoice" button.
Then click "Copy enrollment link" - the link is now copied which you can then paste into an email and forward to your customer.
Resolve is unable to provide advances on invoices for customers that are in "Pending Enrollment". However, you are able to use the Resolve platform to send and receive invoices that are non-advanced and the customer can use the platform to pay net terms invoices without an advance.
