There might be situations where your customer's available credit isn't sufficient to accommodate an advance payment. In this article, we'll explore your options for handling this scenario effectively.
Request a Credit Line Increase
- Log in to your Resolve dashboard.
- Navigate to the Customer who you are looking to invoice.
- In the "Kebab Menu" on the "Customer Details" page, select "Adjust credit line."
- A pop-up modal will appear, allowing you to input your requested credit line amount.

Confirmation and Review:
- Confirm your request through the modal.
- Resolve's credit team will automatically receive the request and review your customer's account within 1-2 business days, at which point you will receive an email notification regarding the credit line adjustment decision.

Request Credit Line Reinstatement
- Log in to your Resolve dashboard.
- Navigate to the Customer who you are looking to invoice.
- In the "Kebab Menu" on the "Customer Details" page, select "Reinstate Credit Line"
- A pop-up modal will appear, prompting you to confirm your reinstatement request.

Confirmation and review:
- Once confirmed, your request will automatically trigger a notification to our team.
- Our team will review your customer's account within 1 business day, at which point you will receive an email notification regarding the reinstatement decision.

Send an Invoice on Terms Without an Advance
- Log in to your Resolve dashboard.
- Navigate to the Customer who you are looking to invoice.
- Click on the "+Add invoice" button.
- Select the option "Do not receive an advance on this invoice."
- Under "Terms options," choose the appropriate terms for your invoice.
- Click "Review and Send" to proceed.
- On the review page, you can check invoice details, view the uploaded invoice, and preview the email that will be sent to your customer.
- Click "Send invoice" in the top right corner to send the invoice to your customer.
